Outside the main cities of Issan is primarily a rural area of agriculture, but the locals have a deep passion for Muay Thai, which has set its initial historical roots in this part of the country. Muay Korat was a certain kind of Muay Thai firstpracticed in Issan. The emphasis in Muay Korat was placed on power, with the Buffalo strike supposedly so powerful that they could himself a Buffalo with a single blow. Suspassitt Road is a bustling neighborhood of the city, with all kinds of vehicles vying for a leadership role in traffic. The steamy tropical air is filled full of the smells of the local Issan dishes which are available at roadside restaurants. Arriving on KRS gym can be a welcoming intimidating.

The establishment of the true authentic Muay Thai style, outdoors with a large shed roof. Drinking water, showers and toilets are available. The priority of the gym facility is the training of real life, modern warriors help to people who can defeat the enemyand achieving goals, no matter how difficult or unpleasant the situation may be, therefore, aesthetics were from the list of requirements for a training center.

Fighters from all over the world with the CRS Gym. Leonard Nganga is an impressive fighter from Kenya. Nganga be sent home all his prize money is struggling to feed his family back in Africa. John from Norway is an experienced Muay Thai fighter, a big heavyweight who fought on the K-1 promotion in Europe, theThai management and trainers call him Mr. John. The use of a well-structured boxing ring, several heavy bags, mirrors, benches to sit, open light dumbbell weights and workout area, the Muay Thai fighters goby a high volume, traditional Muay Thai program day and night.

Training styles, traditions, techniques and structure

The training styles that are at most of Muay Thai camp a little different than in Western modern practices. This is clearly the case with a traditional Muay Thai camp like KRS Gym. Members of the gym for about three hours on the morning train, and 3 hours in the evening, 6 to 7 days per week. A quickTally shows that this total of approximately 39 hours training for the week, a possible translation of at least 35 fitness training in modern Western society.

Each morning begins with a 10 kilometer run, and each afternoon with a 5km run. All major components of the meetings at KRS Gym made by the same time take advantage and tested structure. After her flight fighters on their own preparations of wrapping his hands go, stretching and shadow boxing. FightersThen stand in a bag and run through the constant repetition of strikes, concluded at different levels of intensity for different lap length of four to 10 minutes. During this time, the experienced coaches of the camp two fighters choose to going to work on the punch and kick pads, by repeating the same technique, with trainers and boxers shall work for a seemly impossible perfection. The rounds on the pads with the trainers will take 5 minutes with 1 minute pause. Thelast minute every 5 minutes round of 45 seconds consisting of a slower tempo, then the last 15 seconds fast non-stop striking. Each round, if a boxer is on the bag or pads, finished with 20 fast push-ups.

In all courses there is an emphasis on rhythm. The athletes have a constant crouched standing position, which will fluctuate back and forth. This is based on tradition, however, seems to provide an effective method to achieve physical balance.

Unlikewestern boxing under the Queensberry rules, there is no man to man sparring, fighting in the mirror conditions. Alternatively, periods of light sparring fighters while working the pads with the trainers, the trainer placed the initiation and control with strikes in different intensities, a heavy emphasis on technology. Fighters are not completely in addition to fight-to stand up striking and shadow sparring with other boxers.

Each session will end in the boxing ring, with theUndergo group of fighters set of exercises with a trainer leading the classroom. These practices vary, from up and down the shade knee strikes to the shadow sparring, as mentioned above.

KRS Gym Trainer Ramba Sitsianpo has a facial expression, the unfriendly, if not murderous, but he is positive, polite and very professional. Like all trainers in KRS Gym, his skills in the classroom, despite language barriers, are very impressive.

There are some alternative trainingMethods that take place. Toward the rear end of the meetings will alternate implementation of a fighter's neck strengthening exercise in an old motorcycle helmet with a specific weight to tie it with a rope. The routine includes side and back and forth movement of the head. Obviously, a method is to achieve an effective absorption of air strikes on the head by the enemy. Fighters also make use of an old truck tires from Bouncing Around completion of shadow boxing at its unstableBasis.

Often, but not every exercise session is a fighter complete Extreme Conditioning. While holding the bag, the boxer nonstop hard in the knees and rough sites is completed, bouncing from one foot to the other side. Rounds of this exercise will take take up to five minutes. Initially appears difficult, but not extreme, is the attempt to apply this exercise, opening the eyes of an air conditioning perspective. I was told that the key to his investment intensity is theBouncing from the toe end of a foot to the other, instead of coming from a small break from effectively a flat foot position.

An important theme of the local Thai people in all courses is the emphasis on the lower body strikes with kicks and knees on punching and even the elbows. Foreign boxers, whether novice or experienced, have a clearer performance of punching and elbow in the eye.

Specific Training Notes;

- All training is of extremely highVolume

- The level of intensity vary from situation to situation

- Focus on conditioning the lower body through slow distance running

- Strength and conditioning training is not applicable

- Floor surface is concrete covered with worn carpets, soles of the feet are well-conditioned

- No visible training flexibility. It seems that athletes gain flexibility by continuously processing the required movements

- Fighters display relatively large amounts oflower body than upper body muscle mass

- Runs on the pads with the trainers will take 5 minutes with 1 minute pause. The last minute every 5 minutes round of 45 seconds consisting of a slower tempo, then the last 15 seconds fast non-stop striking

- Boxing ring is extremely padded. Feels like moving on quicksand

- When not working with the trainer, it is up to the fighters for the quality and intensity of training to be responsible, a method of appealingused to stimulate internal discipline and the desire

Gym and Athlete Management

The fitness and sports management plays a crucial role in the effectiveness and efficiency, which is implemented, the Muay Thai training. The gym manager has recruited world-class coach, was a traditional institution and the establishment of a discipline regime. The gym manager is in attendance for all training sessions.

Many of the young fighter's gyms are orphans, takenunder the wing of the gym, as a purpose and opportunity. Hence the desire, when is the champion of the results with the unique path.

I come from a background of Western fitness training, although with experience in Western boxing, I was at the sheer volume of training which was completed in KRS Gym surprised. It was from the beginning that the fighters had an apparently unshakeable will to succeed, and are willing to do what it takes to achieve results. However, throughSimilarly, these warriors were relaxed and happy in themselves as individuals. There was no arrogance or inflated ego, and only genuine self-confidence and personal development. The fighters appear to know well have great confidence in their training, too, that the methods were in engineering and air conditioning, they were taken by a passed down from many generations.

According to experience in person and in KRS Muay Thai Gym, by training and experience of trainingThat occurs is my first conclusion that the all-round athletic ability to be an effective Muay Thai fighter is required immense. Given the sheer volume of training with different intensities of extreme-just a constant rhythmic flow - weight loss is really just an inevitable side effect. The athletic variables that are tested, trained and implemented cross-functionally across all areas of physical activity outside of combat sport training. I was fascinated by the ability ofthe coaches, the excellent training and conditioning work can take the lead despite the language barrier. For me it showed how much of a role played by body language and demonstration in teaching and training.

Training at KRS Muay Thai Gym is the ultimate warrior in the preparation and results are based fitness training.
